Here she is, the Nao Santa Maria. Built in a Spanish shipyard by the Nao Victoria Association in 2017, this is a full-sized replica of the original ship that carried Columbus across the Atlantic Ocean in 1492. It was constructed to celebrate the 525th anniversary of the "meeting between two worlds."

… flailing her arms, she went on and on about what might have befallen him. "Why, it could have been you, burned beyond recognition instead of one of your boys. Your beautiful face. My God! What if something hurt your face?"

December - Don't deny yourself holiday treats. Just don't eat the entire tray.

November - Hold hands with a friend, sibling, child or mate - in public.

October - Tell a clean joke!

September - Relax when you can and avoid looking at a clock as much as possible.

August - Teach, show or learn some sort of hand sewing like knitting, crocheting, crewel, embroidery, cross-stitch, etc. before the art of hand creation is gone!

July - Spend the afternoon reviving a beat up piece of furniture or other object with several different colors of paint and put it outside in your garden.

June - Sing along with old-timey songs.

May - Try a brighter lipstick or a new aftershave.

April -Put fresh greenery and/or flowers on the table once a week. Free from your yard or a friend's is best if possible.
